Fabulous staff. Checkin easy. Very nice breakfast buffet. However, mattress was old, kept rolling into body grooves. Gauze curtain in 2nd floor room with large high light over oarking lot shining in. Staff was friendly, good price, breakfast was decent, gym was in good shape, rooms seemed clean - but definitely needed some broader repairs. Beds were uncomfortable (or overly soft, so for us). Good stay.

The rooms have a nice layout (booked a 2 bedroom queen) and it was a pleasant surprise that they are not right next to each other, but rather one bed in a bedroom and one in the living room area. There is no couch because of this, but its nice to have that privacy element. It was January when I was there and the windows let ALOT of cold air in. The first night I was freezing because of this. The next night, I turned the heat up a lot more and was more comfortable. It served the purpose for my visit to Norfolk and it had a lot of things within walking distance (starbucks, Jersey Mikes, Krispy Kreme). Not bad at all.
