The expansive deck area, beautiful views and comfy accommodations make this home a fantastic find. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax. The sound of the ocean is mesmerizing, as well as the chorus of the coqui frogs in the evenings. We found the location to be perfect. It was easy to explore any area of the island. Both the owner and host were easy to contact and communicate with when needed. Thank you for sharing your home, we would love to return some day!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at Reefhouse! The property manager and owner were so prompt to answer any questions we had! The bedrooms were nice and cool and the porch in the evening was lovely. Loved the beach chairs that were provided and the fast internet. Word to the wise, leave the washing machine lid closed at all times, unless you want to deal with a swarm of mosquitoes ha! If I had to make one suggestion, more bath and beach towels would have been nice, but that’s just being nit picky. Overall we would definitely recommend this property and hope to come back again!

Great communications with the host! The house was very roomy and had everything we needed for our stay. WIFI and AC in the bedrooms worked great. We were close to town but in a quiet and peaceful spot. We especially appreciated the outdoor spaces and wonderful views. Would definitely recommend.

Peaceful with Excellent Ocean view!

Great outdoor patio space and plenty of indoor space. The ocean views were as beautiful as advertised. The neighborhood was quiet and still only 5-10 minute drive to several cafes and restaurants.

A fantastic place to stay!

We loved staying at the Reefhouse! The terrace is amazing and the place is very clean. It's very close to the town center and the owner Valerie was very easy to communicate with. Everything was great, highly recommend!

Beautiful View!

The veranda of the Reefhouse is the perfect spot to relax and listen to and enjoy the beautiful ocean! We enjoyed our stay immensely. The house is lovely and as advertised. The host and manager were very available and communicative. The guest information brochure was extremely helpful. We'd definitely stay here again!

Island Paradise

Just an ideal stay in Vieques on the north side with a short walk to Isabella Segunda. Recently redone with all the amenities you could want. Two bedrooms are air conditioned with good breezes and ceiling fans everywhere you might need them. Great for families or groups up to six. We had a wonderful time and definitely recommend. Checkin was super easy with a house manager who was attentive .

Enjoy the soothing sound of waves

My family and I really enjoyed staying at the Reefhouse! We even tried to extend our stay which Valerie was very quick to respond and accommodate, however due to our other reservations, we weren’t able to make it work.It was very clean and had all we needed. It had a large and beautiful deck (both covered and uncovered) that we enjoyed tremendously! AC worked beautifully and plenty of space to spread out.We would definitely stay at this location again and recommend it to you all.

The house was wonderful - great location and views! You can hear the waves from the ocean all around. You will need a vehicle to access beaches - the only beach we found near the house was a small rocky place with nowhere to sit.

We enjoyed our stay here, the beach was inaccessible (Down a hill) and Glass beach a few miles away was also inaccessible. The Facility was nice but you'd better have a vehicle or you really wont get anywhere.

The view and privacy were outstanding. We did rent a car, and you would have been able to walk to some things, but we wanted to explore the whole island. The details about the property are completely accurate, and we had an outstanding time. The recommendations from the host for restaurants were spot on. The property manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. Would definitely return!

Amazing house in amazing place.

This is a great property with tons of privacy and great ocean views. The house manager and host were great to work with and helped us with some tough traveling conditions that were not their fault at all (hurricanes, etc.) we had surprisingly great internet service during our stay and the house has a modern tv with streaming services ready to go. It is a bit of a hike into town so I would suggest planning on renting a car, golf cart or scooter for getting around. Also, a huge bonus is the washer and dryer on the premises. The washing machine in particular was significantly nicer than ours at home ;-). Great place, that I hope weathered hurricane Fiona ok.

Reef House

Loved the location in Bravos de Boston and the "bones" of the house. Great collection of books, references. Fabulous deck and outdoor dining area. Well equiped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Owners haven't been able to visit in 20 months due to covid ... and some patches and TLC need to be applied but these issue did not impact our stay too grievously. Owners live in Canada but were superbly responsive to questions/issues. Wish the upper part of the stairway to the driveway was lit.

A Rejuvenating Home by the Sea

My family and I loved staying here and didn’t want to leave! You can hear the waves crashing against the shore from almost any room in the house. All of the windows and doors opened with screens, and the ocean breezes blew through the house, keeping it comfortable on most days. The bedrooms had air conditioning, which was a plus! We loved using this house as our base to explore the rest of the island. The beach didn’t feel too great for swimming by the house (it was rocky), so we chose other beaches—there are so many! We rented a car, so we could easily get around, but we appreciated the nearby grocery stores and restaurants. There’s so much to explore on the island—the beaches, snorkeling sites, distilleries, restaurants and bars. But, there’s nothing like waking up in the morning and bringing your cup of coffee out to the porch to soak up the most amazing view of the turquoise ocean!The neighborhood felt safe to us, though there is a great range of housing within a few blocks. The owner had bug spray available, which was helpful. The mosquitoes are out in full force some days! Horses, cats and birds come by to visit. We had all we needed for our stay and the beds were comfortable. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Amazing, peaceful, rejuvenating!

Having been to Vieques a decade ago, we were excited to return and show it to our kids. We had an amazing stay at the Reefhouse and did not want to leave! The views are epic (especially at sunset), the breeze and ocean are soothing, and the location is a great jumping-off point to other parts of Vieques. Beds are comfortable, and there are ceiling fans and windows galore throughout the space (plus air conditioning in the two largest bedrooms). The kitchen, laundry and bathrooms were well-supplied. The common areas, both indoors and outdoors, were wonderful gathering spaces for the beginnings and ends of our days with comfortable lounge furniture and tables that could have accommodated a larger family than ours with ease. I appreciated having books, games, and puzzles on hand to supplement what we squeezed into our luggage. Val was great to work with beforehand and had great suggestions on coffee, restaurants, and beaches for our non-confident swimmer. We practiced snorkeling at Playa Bastimento and plunked ourselves down the other days at La Chiva, Navio, Caracas, and Playa Negra. A real highlight was doing the biobay tour with Fun Brothers during a new moon. The kids loved Marshmallow Candy and Coffee just down the road; the family who owns it are lovely. We had a great dinner at Tin Box, too. As we expected, we left with many more things left to do on our list. We had a week full of pure natural beauty, relaxation, and time together. We'd absolutely stay here again.

Just got back from an awesome family vacation!

Just got back from our wonderful vacation to Vieques. This home has an amazing panoramic view from its huge front patio. Definitely our favorite part of the house. The beds were very comfortable and the house came with a pack and play which was very useful. Kitchen was well equipped and cabinets had "leftover" seasoning/oil/ etc from previous renters which was useful.. We also added to that by leaving what we couldn't take with us. There were plenty of coconuts to snack on. We had a rental car and were able to tour the island a little bit. (Most side roads are not paved and can be very bumpy). Our favorite beach was half moon. Would have liked to visit Blue beach, but was closed along with some others. I read they were closing for a few months to clean up military debris. Unfortunately we weren't able to do a bio bay tour (full moon), but will hopefully be back and can plan that for our next trip. Overall had an amazing vacation and would absolutely stay at this house again. FYI/Suggestions for the house..... only 2 of the 3 bedrooms have AC. It did get very hot/humid at night and we had to pull one of the mattresses into another room to sleep. The shower in the hallway bathroom has such poor water pressure we had to all use the master bath to shower. Not a big deal and I'm sure It could easily be fixed. Some of the beach chairs are broken/rusty. Again not a big deal since we spent most of our time on the crystal clear water!
