We pulled up and there were police confronting people in the parking lot across the street, so we felt a little nervous about that. Then the hotel wanted to charge us ten dollars per kid for our room, which we hadn't expected. At that point, we were feeling nervous about the environment and bothered by the extra fees, and so we chose to go somewhere else for the night. We had no regrets about leaving.

I don’t know why this place has some questionable reviews. I had a great experience. I was late checking in but it was not a problem at all. The area felt safe (I was a woman traveling alone). The only recommendation I have for the owner is to plug the fridge in before a guest arrives so it’s cold. I would definitely stay here again.

Rude workers. Husband kept trying to walk into room as I was just getting out of shower and yelled when I voiced my concerns. It seems he doesn’t respect anyone’s personal space/choices and lets his ego get in the way of actually being a decent person.

Avoid this place!!

I have no idea how this place is rated 7/10 on here. The room was so dirty and we saw several different insects in it, both alive and dead. There was what seemed to be a broken doorknob or something behind the bathroom door on the floor. It had clearly not been cleaned thoroughly, along with the straw from a capri sun on the floor near a bed. The AC was not on when we got there, the refrigerator wasn't plugged in, and something fell on my face from the ceiling in the middle of the night. The vending machine and ice machine were both broken as well. I almost never leave negative reviews at all, but I hope to save someone else the stress I went through. The only reason we didn’t leave was because I had been awake so long it was unsafe to drive. Although, I will say that the lady at the front desk was very nice.

If a motel requires a deposit they should list that on their ads through the booking places which they did not list any kind of deposit information like that until I got to the hotel they were very judgmental I have two special needs children and yes they were acting out a little bit and I was getting dirty looks from them all.
