This was our favourite stay while in Iceland. The cabins were well stocked and quiet, the right distance from town to feel removed. We were able to cook basic meals and we loved having access to a hot tub and sauna. Wouldn’t change a thing. It was lovely!

The staff was responsive and friendly to all of our requests. Breakfast was a highlight- many options, with a lot of Icelandic influence. We dined at the restaurant for two evenings. We found the food delicious and very good value in comparison to other restaurant hotels we ate at in Iceland. Overall this was our best value stay in all of Iceland. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next tour of East Iceland."
