This is a lot more than a tourist area motel. Yes it shows its age in a couple of places, mostly chipping pain on the doors and iron work, but it’s kept immaculately clean. Having a microwave and mini fridge allowed us to save some money by making our own sandwiches to take to the beach and nuking leftovers or something quick when we were just to spent after a day in Savannah to go walk a block or two to get dinner. Linens were spotless white from bed to bath. Check in and housekeeping staff were friendly and personable. Parking can be a little tight when it’s sold out but we never had to park off property. We didn’t need air conditioning while we were there but the heat works well and quietly. Our 2nd floor room had a private porch on the opposite side of the room as the entrance, over looking the pool. It was nice to leave that door open for fresh air and a nice breeze when we were in the room.Would 100% stay again!

First Kensley was awesome. She greeted me with a smile and was very polite. She was attentive to my needs in being unable to climb stairs. She changed my room to the first floor. The Room was clean and tidy. But I have to say the bed was the second best part ( Kensley first) Having double sciatica pain it’s truly hard to sleep on either side. The bed was perfect. I had relatively no pain upon waking up. Truly a hidden gem.

Tonya at the front desk and Mennah in housekeeping were excellent. They were both warm and friendly, which made up for the cold & chilly weather that happened to arrive when I did. Keep in mind that it was December & I do live in Florida now so to me it was chilly. 😄

The Dunes Inn room was clean and spacious. Some of the other guests (a few permanent) were a bit loud but not obnoxious. The surrounding area was perfect for walking to local restaurants and stores.

We wasn't looking for a 5 star hotel. But the service and the room was more than expected. Also without asking the front desk employee provide places to eat and visiting plus the indication to arrived to our room. Hotel is well located. Rooms are clean and the bed and the pillows were fantastic. If you are looking for a good place to sleep and a great location, this is your way to go.

Nice and small, cozy room. Loved the coral-themed sink and marine-style bedsheets 🛥️ Favourite part is that the front desk was so nice and accommodating! It was well enough to have an awesome first impression and given suggestions on my check in, but they also helped a lot after I accidentally left my clothes at checkout 😅 Would definitely stay again!
