10/10 Excellent

We live in the woods and can't see our neighbors, so when this house popped up, I knew it was "it." And I wasn't wrong. The house is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked (nonstick pans that were still nonstick!). The elk were in the field as we pulled in, the egrets were out in the estuary the next morning, red wing blackbirds trilling away...heaven! Our favorite part was when we opened the slider to use the hot tub the first night and we were hit with a wall of FROGS!!! Okay, frogs croaking, not actual frogs coming in the door. It was amazing to soak and listen to them. I just wish it had been warmer so I could have enjoyed my morning coffee sitting on the deck. This is the perfect middle spot--we went down to the Newport Aquarium one day, and up to Astoria another day. The one day it rained all day, we headed to the Tillamook Pioneer Museum and the Tillamook Cheese Factory and Blue Heron with dinner at Werner Beef & Brew (if you're looking for the actual "best clam chowder on the coast" it's there...you're welcome).Anyway...thank you SO MUCH for sharing your home. It was the perfect place to spend spring break.
