This place is great!! The staff is super helpful and super nice! It’s a great place for families for sure! But even if you’re going as a couple or group of adults you can still have fun! Views amazing! Only complaint is the beds. Yeah I know yikes! Not sure if it was just our room but man probably some of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve slept on and I travel a lot. Still, it’s a great spot. Would recommend you at least try once.

Room service went through all my bags and private belongings. They rummaged through the clothes in my dressers and stole my 180$ perfume. Management barely cared that their employees are doing this to guests. I will never go back and wish i can have my money back. All this money for such an aweful time feels so disappointing

Check in was ridiculous with a long line and people that were “water park only” getting priority check-in. Water park needs better upkeep— wave pool has pieces of debris floating and the ONLY hot tub was barely warm. We were informed assigned to the hot tub that it had been leaking for awhile. We paid top dollar for a suite to enjoy outdoor activities for New Year’s and expect a hot tub. Do better Csmelback!! We will take our business to another hotel-Waterpark!

This place has seriously gone downhill and appears to be under new management. It feels like Camelback was sold and is now being run purely for profit, with little to no concern for guest experience or safety. At this point, it feels like guests are being overcharged for declining services. We have stayed here five years in a row and have never had an experience this bad. Removing valet parking was a major mistake — we spent 45 minutes just trying to find parking, which is unacceptable for a resort of this size, especially in winter. The snow tubing was horrendous. It was extremely slow, dangerously overcrowded, and completely disorganized. Tubes were scattered everywhere, people were falling off to the sides, and there was little to no supervision. It felt unsafe. The shuttle service was a complete failure. We waited over an hour and a half, and it never arrived. There was no communication or assistance from staff. Our room was never cleaned during the stay. No housekeeping service at all. To make matters worse, a fire alarm was pulled, and the hotel descended into chaos. Guests were running throughout the building with no clear direction or crowd control from staff. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. Poor management, overcrowding, lack of organization, and serious safety concerns. After five years of loyalty, we will not be returning.
