Cannot fault the staff and organisation of the property. We were able to check in very easily and over 2 hours early which was a great help. The bathroom shower was not the cleanest but the rest of the room was very clean. The only other thing was that the cleaning staff ignores the door sign and knocks to ask if you want it cleaned or when you are leaving. Check out is 10am but cleaning staff were knocking on the door for room service at 9.30am

Unfortunately my room was adjacent to a communal bathroom need I say more? I had an ensuite however constant banging of the bathroom door was awful.

As I arrive late, I have never seen staff. I also don’t walk around the property after driving 5 hours to get to the lodge. The room need instructions on how to operate the TV. This takes a lot of button pressing just to get the free to air channels. Other than that. I am very happy with this facility.

I booked the room for the 3 of us so i would of expected the sofa bed to be made up it wasn't and it definitely wasn't a single sofa had a big gap in it near center making it unsleepable.The towels being replaced only once and then only for 2 not sure what they expected the 3rd to do the bin wasn't emptied the 1st make up day so it over flowed till the next time tea bags were not topped up which usually happens all the other places I've stayed at We had are makeup room sign out by 830am and the room was tidied but we had the sign out at10am and no one bothered to make it up so if you want fresh towels or your bins emptied bed made you cannot have a Dozie sleep in.The location was good just a bit inconvenient when rail work is being done so if you know in advance you are probable better to stay else were but it is a good walk over the bridge if you are only doing city The accommodation was not at all what we expected so tiny not sure where they would of but there free roll away bed if we requested it.had to walk side ways around as it was

Having stayed at this property previously, and essentially satisfied, booked again, bus was disappointing to experience the following: > a lizard (still alive) in the bed just as getting in > hair and dirt in bathroom > a rat roaming freely in the adjacent garden visible from the bedroom > ironing board & cover damaged Besides that, Carnarvon Lodge is a great location and accessible to many amenities and transport services

Access was unsafe due to flooding in heavy rain. The premises were undergoing renovation and the builders had not rectified drainage from the access. We had booked two nights but were compelled to relocate elsewhere. The premises should really have been closed during the renovation. The manager Jason was helpful and understanding.
