No help at the door with baggage and we were struggling a lot in front of the staff with no offer to assist. The rooms smelled like cheap cleaner. The coffee machine leaked water everywhere. There was no channel guide and no bottled water in the rooms.

Property was clean and well located. Advertised Hot tub was out of service. Parking was not clearly defined.

Very convenient location for activity we did in the area (American Shakespeare Center). Got a great cocktail at the bar after the show. Clean and comfortable room, once we turned up the heat. Upon arrival the temperature in the room was 50 degrees. Friendly, helpful staff. The food kiosk didn't have many options for late night snacking, so maybe stop at the nearby grocery store or gas station to get some snacks before checking in. I would stay here again and recommend this property for those wanting to be in the downtown area.

Lovely place to stay in Staunton, however all rooms are not equal, so pay attention when booking. A king room varies in size, and amenities such as a mini frig are not guaranteed room to room.
