Would have been a perfect location just across from the Stage Coach Lift, if there had been any snow at Heavenly. We wound up hiking and playing disc golf instead. We definitely needed our own rental car for that. The place was very quiet (not surprising since there wasn't snow). The hot tub was a nice feature but only 2 of the jets worked. Because there were only two of us, I would have preferred not to have a bed in the front room and would have used that as a sitting area instead. I can imagine having this extra sleeping space would have been a great option for someone with one or two kids or even for two couples to stay. There were plenty of towels and the bed in the bedroom was comfortable. Having the fans was key to keeping the temperature comfortable during the day and when sleeping. The gas fireplace worked very well to keep it warm in the early morning or late evening.
