Basic motel, dated, could definitely use some deep cleaning and updating. It was also very expensive for that type of property, but the prices were jacked up because it was PSU move in weekend.

We checked in and found our room. The floor was as dirty (no carpet) but otherwise it was fine. Five minutes later, another guest opened our door. We had been given the wrong room because my name is long and had the same first three letters as the other guest’s name. Never mind that the desk clerk had asked for my ID. We went back to the front desk and got our new room assignment. It was by the pool and the floor was clean. We were relaxing in the room for a few minutes when we heard a baby screaming and crying at the pool. At 4:30 on Friday afternoon, there was an infant swimming class being held. It was awful to listen to and we finally just left. We will not be staying here again.

No problem with the age but the cleanliness

I can handle an older property. That’s fine. But my kids found dead beetles and the fuzz, fire and dust were just a little much. I have never really cared if a property is dated as long as it’s clean.
