We love staying at the Coast Cottages in St. Simon. This was our first time at Dauntless and it was everything we needed. The home was clean, the beds comfortable and the AC cool. The ladies at Georgia Coastal were also very nice when we picked up our welcome packet.

Cannot say enough good things about this property. It was well maintained & spotless. The location to the beach & pool was excellent. We also found the kitchen was well stocked for our needs. As we were three couples it was great having full bathrooms in each bedroom.

Fall Break '24 - 2 families

The property was just perfect for 2 families to spend a long weekend. The setup was nice, included chairs, and umbrella for beach that we used. The pool access and beach access were super convenient!

Great location and lovelt accomodations

The home is in an ideal location to enjoy everything St Simons has to offer. It is very nicely furnished for casual livi g and very clean. It was exactly as listed.

Family Beach Vacay

We had an amazing stay at the Dauntless Cottage!! You can’t beat the location, steps away from a beautiful beach and two heated pools. We had a 2 year old and a 10 month old with us so the short walk to the pool/beach was perfect. The house was immaculate with all the amenities. There are also tons of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We were very happy with our stay and can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!

Loved the house! Close walk to beach. Property manager very attentive. Would love to stay in this house again. Well stocked Kitchen. Bedroom on main floor was key for my elderly parents. 10 out of 10! Thank you!

Dauntless cottage

The cottage is as stated on website - clean and good location. As far as housekeeping recommendations: the kitchen s lacking measuring cups/spoons, mixer is not functional, only one trash bag for the kitchen trash can and only one paper towel roll.

Perfect house for family vacation

This was our second time renting a house on this street. We enjoyed our previous stay at the first house, but this house surpassed our expectations. The layout was perfect for our family, which included my husband and I, my parents, and our two boys. We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old so having the door at the top of the stairs to be able to close while they slept was great for completely blocking out all noise from downstairs. There was plenty of space for everyone, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and we enjoyed time on the upper deck in late afternoon and evenings. I would recommend that the toaster be replaced as it seemed to be malfunctioning and possibly a fire hazard. We will definitely be booking another family vacation at this property!

7 Coast Cottage - Dauntless Cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely cottage in a gorgeous neighborhood! Well equipped with everything we could need for our weeklong girls trip. Very clean and well maintained property. Location was absolutely fantastic! We were just steps away from the pools and a short walk to the beach. Only a mile or 2 from shopping, restaurants, grocery, and lighthouse/museum. Our only complaint was with the mattresses. One bed was fine, but the other beds had large dips in the mattresses on each side, with a hump in middle of the bed. The air conditioning went out on the upper floor mid-way through our stay, but the maintenance company came right away and took care of it for us. Overall, a really positive experience and we really enjoyed this location. We will definitely return!

We were looking for a place to stay that didn’t have a pool on property (we have an active 1 year old and didn’t want to worry about him getting out) so this location was PERFECT because it was a quick walk to the pool and you just head right up to the beach from there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this house! Everything was beautiful and clean. The bedrooms were all roomy and I loved that each had their own bath. There is plenty of room throughout the house to spread out if you'd like to. There is an elevator but we didn't use it at all due to having young children with us. It was better for the curious 2 and 5 year old to not even know it was there. Although we didn't cook except for throwing something together for breakfast, the kitchen has all the equipment you would need for cooking. This is not a complaint....just an observation....if you do plan to cook you will need to bring any spices, oil, or condiments that you will need. There is salt and pepper there and coffee filters. Again, not complaining. Some rentals provide staples and some do not. There were a couple of very minor issues which we left on the feedback form provided in the checkout packet. It was nothing that needed immediate attention. The rental process with Georgia Coast Realty was easy. I called prior to arrival with several questions and they were pleasant and provided all the answers I sought. Dauntless Cottage is located in a beautiful community with very easy access to the beach and two community pools. We would definitely stay again.

Reviewer Comments: All of the homes are very close together and if you are unfortunate enough to be there when other folks are doing construction it's a bit unbearable. House was fairly clean. The kitchen is pretty old but serviceable. It is right at the end of the road so close to the pool but the street is small so does matter all that much.

It’s proximity to the pool as well as the beach and ocean was perfect. The house has everything that one could possibly need on vacation with a fully stocked kitchen that we underutilized. Very comfortable and cozy and would definitely rent this house again. Our last night in the house there was a large storm that knocked out the power to the entire street and much of the island. This caused something in the house to be beeping and I called the emergency maintenance number just to make sure everything was OK. They responded very quickly and professionally. Very happy with the Dauntless!
