We at Florida Sun Vacation Rentals are excited to offer you the Pomelo Place The Safety Harbor Home.

Pomelo Place is centrally located - 20 minutes to Tampa Airport and 18 minutes to Clearwater Beach or Honeymoon Island and Beach, 10 minutes to Dunedin and 1 mile to Safety Harbor. This family vacation house offers 2 master suites and a POOL! With 2 additional queen bedrooms and one room with bunk beds, you can stay comfortably with up to 10 people for family vacations and friends' getaways.

A perfect place to come home to after you visit the nearby beaches, catch an MLB spring training game, kayak or dine and shop in Safety Harbor.

Pool and Outside Area:

The pool is located in a fully fenced rear yard. Pool side wicker loungers and a sofa are perfect for morning coffee or evening wine outside by the pool.

There is also a propane grill available for you to use. Make sure to snap a selfie with our alligator mural, painted by a local artist and tag us on social media at Pomelo Place.

There is a large parking pad and a circle drive in front of the house accommodating a total of four cars.

House:

This newly remodeled home is light and bright and welcoming without being busy or fussy. The single story, open floor plan is designed for spending time together and unwinding after a busy day enjoying what the area has to offer. There is WiFi available in the home.

Dining:

You can seat up to ten people at the dining table inside and up to six at the dining table outside. There are plenty of plates, utensils, serving dishes, etc. to serve everyone at your table.

Living Room:

The living room houses the one and only TV in the house. With a comfortable sofa, love seat and ottoman you can settle in and watch the local stations on the cable provided or log in to your own streaming apps using the smart TV to watch whatever you want.

There is an assortment of games and puzzles available for you to use during your stay under the TV in the cabinet. There is also an awesome pool table to enjoy!

Kitchen:

The fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and an assortment of appliances is made for cooking for a group and completely open to the living area so you can still be part of the fun. There is a coffee and tea station in an adjacent antique desk cabinet.

The laundry room with washer and dryer, iron and ironing board is located off the kitchen.

Bedrooms:

There are TWO master suites - each has a king bed and a private bath en-suite (one has a walk in shower and one has a bath shower combo). Both masters have private access to the pool deck as well.

The other three bedrooms share a full bath with a tub shower combo. Two rooms have queen beds and one room, has bunk beds totaling two twins.

You will be a three minute walk from beautiful waterfront Philippe Park on Tampa Bay which offers a huge variety of activities. There are two playgrounds, open fields, picnic areas, boat access ramp, kayak/canoe rentals, an historic archaeology dig, biking/walking trail and more.

Downtown Safety Harbor (Main Street) is less than a mile away. You can walk there safely on sidewalks or grab an UBER and be there in two minutes to enjoy the restaurants, shopping, spa, harbor, local parades, festivals and events.

Safety Harbor is also the home of the Phillies Spring Training facility. During the Spring months, you can watch MLB spring training games less than ten minutes away. Other MLB Spring Training campuses nearby for the Blue Jays, Yankees, etc.

There are too many beaches nearby to list all but some of the acclaimed FL gulf beaches nearby include Clearwater Beach (20 minutes away), Honeymoon Beach (20 minutes away) and St. Pete's Beach (40 minutes away). The house is stocked with some beach essentials for you use - some folding chairs, a cooler, beach bag, etc.

Tampa Bay International is about 20 minutes away and the city of Tampa is about 25 minutes away, if you want to get more of a big city experience or see a game.

Special Note: Deposit, Payment and Cancellation Policy: (VRBO Moderate Cancellation Policy) A deposit of $250.00 applied towards the balance is due when a guest wishes to book a property. The balance is due by check 61 days prior to the stay. We DO NOT accept credit cards for large balance payments over $2500.00. The entire balance is due if booked within 60 days of arrival. 100% refund 30 days before check-in; 50% refund 14-30 days before check-in. NO EXCEPTIONS. We offer at time of booking and encourage travelers to purchase travel insurance which covers trip cancellation subject to the plan description of coverage. A short term rental agreement must be signed prior to check in.

Special Note: Pool is heated during winter in an attempt to maintain 80-85 degrees, however, pool temps will fluctuate during winter depending on strength and frequency of cold fronts. We do not guarantee any temperature at any time. In winter time, supplemental heating is available for $250.00 per week which involves running the pump and heater for up to 16 hours per day as opposed to the normal 10. We cannot guarantee what temperature will be achieved as it is dependent on the outside temperature. Similarly, pool will often reach over 90 degrees in summer naturally.
