I loved having the kitchenette in the room. It was easy to walk to a variety of restaurants and bars and beach access was also diagnally located across the street. Everything was stocked and clean. This is a very family friendly establishment so expect children playing in the pool etc. Our only complaint would be that the matress wasn't very comfortable but that wouldnt deter me from staying again. Highly recommend forbthe budget conscious that want to have access to everything in Clearwater!

Great family get away.

We had a great vacation at Pelican Pointe. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job. We really enjoyed the pool and close beach access. There are several great restaurants and shopping all in close walking distance.

Very convenient location! A short walk to the beach and restaurants. There was some construction in the parking lot but we didn’t hear any noise from our room so it was no bother. We loved that beach chairs and towels were provided in our room. The outlets did have extension cords which seemed a little sketchy but wasn’t a big deal. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Overall, we had a decent time at the location. It was walking distance to local shops and restaurants. The beach was mere feet away. The only real concern was the work being done in the facility. It was loud the work being done left dust. We would recommend for those seeking a budget friendly option.

Very clean, but for the price (although discount) the room had no balcony and the only window had no curtains so you are awakened by sunrise. Everything else was good...very clean, great staff, and quiet for the renovations they were undergoing while we were there.

The bathroom door would not open from the inside which is unsafe. Thankfully i wasn't alone and had someone to let me out. I did tell front desk about it and it was fixed. Also saw a few roaches.The staff did restock supplies when i requested them though.

It all started with…The lady (Vera) at reception was unprofessional- I called to advise we were coming in late around 9pm and they said that it wouldn’t be an issue. Once we arrived they changed the number of our room to a smaller and dirty room. Used fork in sink - the toilet was used and the hygiene ribbon was ripped off over the toilet seat, red bull on bathroom counter and a bed which someone had lied down on before we arrived. I asked for our room back the initial one marked down on the contract and the receptionist said that there was no a room assigned. When I lifted the contract, I showed her the whiteout over the number and a new room number written over it. She became hostile as she spoke to me saying there was a technical issue in the room- I asked what the issue was and after starring me down she said that the TV didn’t work in the other room and didn’t want a complaint from us. I left the reception aRea and my husband tried to calm her down in order to have our family rest in a clean room. Needless to say the hotel is holding on metal stilts, lobby is closed, coffee maker was non functioning. Elevator started working on the day we arrived and yet It had a couple of issues during our stay. Arriving at home we have been unable to get a musty odour out of our clothes and luggage. I will not send anyone there. The ratings were not accurate at all…terrible time terrible place. We felt lied to - as if the room had been promised to someone else.
