Carpet was covered in stains. We stayed 3 nights and had NO maid service. We had to go to desk twice, once for toilet paper and again for garbage bags because room was not serviced at all. Also had a micro mini fridge( never saw one this small before). The shower head did not have a sprinkle setting, it was just a hole that had the pressure of a pressure washer. View from room was beautiful right across river from the Arch. Got to see it a lot since curtain rod was nonfunctional so you couldn’t close curtains tight.

The elevatora smelt like marijuana. Our room had hair balls in the room and bathroom. There were notes on rhe inside door of our rooms. The hotel seemed run down.. We will never stay there again!

I've stayed here before but it's been a while. It's overdue for an upgrade. Tv was very small, shower head was like a water hose nozzle, there was a bit of mold in the corners of the shower, broken/loose tiles on the bathroom floor, stained carpet, and also used soap in the shower with hair on it.

Good for what we needed.

I would stay there again for the price but it does need some furniture upgrades and lighting in bathroom. Beds were decent though. Adding a breakfast is always a plus. GREAT VIEW OF THE ARCH

Wasn’t the worst place, but not the best either

Check in was smooth and easy and the staff was fantastic. The room was pretty dirty, noticeable dust on the carpets, the tv wouldn’t work, the ac unit was LOUD, both bedside lamps would not work, obvious water leak from toilet stained bathroom floor. The hotel has a lot of potential, but just needs more attention to cleanliness and making sure amenities are in working order

We have stayed here before several times, feel that the property is decent, however, the staff when we checked in were not very friendly. It was like I bothered them when I asked a couple questions. Room was clean, but you can see the wear & tear on the room.

We loved the view of the river and arch! It's one of the nicest locations to view the arch. Free parking was great! Saw a security car patrolling the parking areas regularly and felt reasonably safe on the premises, even though East St Louis area is very run down. Easy access to the Metro and only 2 stops to the convention center. Housekeeping service needs improvement. Heavily stained carpets, thick dust on headboard. We did not need or want room service daily, but did ask for it twice during our 10-day stay. But when we did have it, they did the bare minimum - new towels and make the bed. They did not check to see if there was shampoo/conditioner in the refillable containers in the shower. (Conditioner was out the entire time.) Toilet was never cleaned during room service even though it visibly needed it. We did not complain about these, but feel those are basics of room service.
