I definitely try to give places the benefit of the doubt...but lately any hotel that's been teamed up with Wyndham is just not worth it. Front desk/walk in area was very disorganized, cluttered and looked a mess. Just started it off on the wrong foot. Front desk staff was great! The wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the ice machine was empty come morning, water cooler was empty, coffee machines in breakfast area were empty. After taking in the hotel, we decided to eat our breakfast elsewhere. The one good thing was the view of the bridge from our room. Beautiful scenery. The room didn't have the musty smell like some older hotels, but it was just not great. The beds had indents you could clearly see. Again, just not great for the price we paid.

We got a room with a view of the bridge. It had a little outside deck with 2 chairs that we could sit in. The view was breathtaking both day and night. The room was old and could use a facelift.

Very Awesome Hotel!!!

I can't believe this is a Super 8. I use to think they were like the rundown Motel 6's, but this one is top notch with swimming pool and hot tub, comfortable beds, a really good breakfast where they had foods like omelets, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee, fruit. We came on Memorial Day weekend and they decorated the breakfast area too. The parking was nearby, the staff was super friendly, the rate was affordable given the area. They were even able to give a 1st floor room near the a door that exits out the building so that my elderly parents didn't have to walk far or up any stairs. I really appreciated this. There are also some restaurants across the street and next door (sit down and fast food). I would easily recommend this place and if I come back I'm staying here again.

Room was nice. Room was clean. It was quite noisy though. When other rooms near us used water, it was very loud in our room. We were on the ground floor, could hear people walking above us, or rolling their computer chair on the floor.

Good Hotel, staff was not great.

The room and property were great. The staff was not very friendly, they didn't seem happy to be there or ready to welcome guests. The breakfast was not at all welcoming, there was not much there. There was coffee, but no bread for toast, and there was syrup but nothing to put it on. There were only a couple apples that were shriveling. Not much at all in the small cooler. We left and went somewhere else to eat. When we checked out again the staff was uninterested.

The view of the Big Mac Bridge is so nice. There was a hint of marijuana in the hall when we arrived, but later disappeared. Many construction workers stay there; bless 'em. It was a Sunday.

Our room over looked the convergence of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron and the magnificent bridge connecting the Upper Peninsula with Michigan in the middle. From our private balcony watching the passing ocean going vessels was delightful
