My only true complaint was during check out. My husband and I decided to leave half a day early. I went into the office to give them a heads up and ask about them checking the room as part of the pet policy. Which neither the person I checked in with or this person really knew what to do. I went back to the room, packed and checked back in with the front desk. There was a different woman there and no sign of the one I told I was leaving early. No big. I said “hi, I’m here to check out.” The woman’s demeanor immediately changed and she said, “well I’m going to have to charge you extra.” I said, “oh bc of the dog? I already was charged…” the woman cut me off rather rudely. Loudly and firmly said “NO. For the extra day. Check out is at 11.” She kept speaking over me when I tried to tell her that yes, it’s true but that I’m leaving early. She didn’t believe me even with my reservation on my phone. And mentioned again in a very passive aggressive tone, “11!” She was obviously wrong and became very polite once she realized. The damage was done for me. She didn’t know how to refund me the extra day (honestly I didn’t care. I just wanted to leave) so I told her if you want to waive the pet fee, we can call it square. Welp, a week later and no refund. I wish she had a name tag bc the woman I checked in with when I arrived was very friendly. But check out was a disappointment. This woman’s attitude was very inappropriate and I hope they are embarrassed.
