Upon entering the room we were pleasantly surprised. A hand written note and fresh gummy worms and bottled water to very clean room and bathroom was refreshing. Breakfast was top notch from the food to the staff. We will be back and delighted with the entire stay.

Stayed at the Bass Pro Angler’s Lodge and it’s exactly what it needs to be. Not luxury, not bad—just a solid, basic hotel. The staff is excellent and very welcoming. Breakfast is better than most hotels, and since it’s free, there’s really no reason to go elsewhere in the morning. Rooms are clean and comfortable, though nothing fancy. Beds are fine. The pool is small and very strong on chlorine. The biggest perk is the location—right across the street from Bass Pro, which is incredibly convenient if that’s why you’re in Springfield. Overall, it’s a good stay, but a bit pricey for what it is. If it were $30–$50 cheaper, it would be an easy recommendation.
