"Classic mountain hotel overlooking the fjord. We traveled here with our 7 year old daughter in July 2026 and were able to rent a room with a small extra room for her which was really nice. View is incredible, staff is very friendly, and the restaurant has a great dinner & breakfast. Also this hotel is the only one in the area to preserve the original structure of the old hotel. The rest are basically rebuilt and lack a lot of the charm here. Only word of caution is there is no elevator, so if mobility is an issue this might not be the right option. However, for us it was perfect and the hotel itself will be a lasting memory from our trip."
