We LOVED this quiet cabin stay! Super clean, great host and everything you could want for a fun getaway. We had a little trouble finding it (don’t listen to your maps, go up one more road and make that left.) but everything that is written in the detailed check in instructions was right on. My kids hid little tiny lobsters around the house so to anyone who finds them - they are from the Angelini family from South Florida :)Thanks Vern for sharing your house with us!

We loved our stay! The cabin was extremely clean. There were clear and understandable directions throughout the cabin. We were a very short drive from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Townsend. Unbelievable views with fabulous amenities.

Perfect little cabin for our fall break stay. When visiting Pigeon Forge, we prefer to stay a little outside of town to avoid the crowds and the Wears Valley area is perfect for that. The cabin is new and very clean, had everything we needed, and was very comfortable. It checked all of the boxes for us and our teenager who was looking for a hot tub, pool table, and games-a must for a cabin stay. Having extra towels, blankets, and pillows was also a plus. Communication with the host was very easy and friendly. Loved their app for the cabin that has all the information you could need for your stay. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. The host was very attentive and responded quickly when we mentioned a small issue. The cabin was clean, perfect for our family of four. The kids had a blast upstairs playing pool, Xbox, and enjoying the cabin. The view was just what we needed along with the hammock and hot tub. The only issue we noticed was the road right before the cabin is gravel and may benefit from mentioning that having a four wheel drive vehicle, especially in poor weather may be ideal. We had a slight issue with the gravel, but overall it wasn’t a big deal during this stay. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this private cabin with spectacular mountain views. We loved how everything inside the cabin was labeled and easy to find. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The hot tub was fantastic. We were happy to see extra bedding/pillows if needed. The hosts had great communication and shared many useful resources ahead of time via Messages on Vrbo. Loved the website with details for our stay! We would definitely book this property again!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Black Bears cabin. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the view from the deck was beautiful! We loved the karaoke machine! We had some laughs with that! We loved the corn hole game! We had some car trouble while we were there, and the tool kit we found in the cabinet was just what my husband needed to fix it! We were so glad it was available! We had a pair of hummingbirds that visited while we were relaxing on the deck. We really enjoyed watching them. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a short stay while we were passing through the area. Cabin was just as described. This was one on the cleanest places we have stayed. The online guestbook is great. The hosts communication was great. The drive up was not and issue but if your not comfortable on narrow roads you may not be a fan but it’s really not bad at all. Would def stay again without hesitation

The property is located at a convenient location easily accessible to attractions at Pigeon Forge and nearby Gatlinburg. The property is very clean. The designs inside the cabin are lovely with a mountain theme. The porch on the first and second floor provides a gorgeous panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. Our hosts Vern and Hana were very prompt in responding to any concerns that we had and provided very helpful information about the cabin. We had a fantastic experience during our week-long get away trip here. Highly recommend!

The cabin is cute and perfect for two people. The games inside and out provide lots of entertainment for down time. We enjoyed the partial mountain views and had a gorgeous sunset one night while we were there. We had everything we needed to make dinners. There were plenty of towels, we did bring our own for the hot tub. Overall, we loved this cabin and would stay again!!

This cabin is perfect! These are generous hosts that strive to provide everything you could need. They were timely and very helpful with their communication!Highlights: pool table, hot tub, comfortable beds, deck view, lots of blankets, karaoke, fully stocked kitchen, tastefully decorated, location- reasonable distance from pigeon forge, Gatlinburg and national park, high enough but not a scary drive up. For parents- I have 3 “professional critics” in my family and they had ZERO complaints! It was a win in all categories!!

Summer Get Away

What a great cabin! It was the perfect place for us to take our grandchild for her summer visit! She loved being able to explore, loved the activities at the cabin and we loved how easy it was to get every where we wanted to go from this location. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with, the property was well cared for, clean beautiful! We would not only recommend the property but we would stay there again!!!

Quiet tranquility

We have been coming to Tennessee mountains for some years now. So my wife and i wanted to show my daughter and her fiance what we do at the mountains. Its not about partying its avout takeing in the fresh air and resetting your mind Thanks to Vern and Hanna for letting us experience their home in the mountains this time

Wonderful Weekend Stay

Such a cute cabin!

My husband and I rented this cabin for our anniversary and it was everything we wanted! It was far enough outside of town to feel secluded but also close enough to do all the fun things pigeon forge and gatlinburg have to offer! Definitely would recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle! 😊

Awesome cabin ! Terrible driveway

Overall the cabin was great ! Awesome secluded view , hot tub , pool table , not much more you can ask for ! Very clean and props to whoever built this cabin , 5 start cabin no doubt. The only con was the “road” to your parking spot , insanely steep , gravel with giant drop offs and potholes , i got stuck multiple times. There is not a single light on the road as well. Wish the a listing would have had pictures/heads up that a 4x4 / AWD vehicle is almost necessary. Thankfully the weather was clear so the road wasn’t all muddy or full of puddles. Other then the road the cabin was exactly as advertised!

Sunset Ridge

Cabin was exactly like the photos, brand new cabin and was extremely clean when we arrived. Lots of notes and labels which made a new space easy to navigate. Lots of amenities like the pool pass which boasts a beautiful view, a place to sit and work if needed, the hammock was nice, we also used the cornhole and hot tub was superb. The wireless chargers built into the lamps came in extremely handy. We enjoyed our coffee on the back porch every morning. We did our grocery shopping at Kroger which is closer than it seems. Our fave general store was Mountain Brothers - try the homemade pork rinds and local coffee! This location seemed to be in the middle of all the things we wanted to do. Vern and Hana were very thorough with the guidebook and attentive to any messages. I recommend watching the driving video on Youtube before coming to the property. Great place for a family!
