The location of the cabin was perfect. There was ample parking, the cabin was spacious, and clean. We would stay here again.

The value was good. The cabin was newer and cleaner than others along with more parking. Would highly recommend for large groups! Good location too!

Perfect experience

The property was as described and more. A perfect place for a family retreat especially with small children and early teens. The house was well stocked, maintained and clean. We will absolutely recommend staying here.

Family reunion

It was a great place to stay in a convenient location. Very spacious for our large party. Everyone from the kids to the adults had a great time. The hosts were very responsive and addressed everything immediately. Look forward to recommending this property to family and friends and hopefully be able to visit again.

Great house for our family trip!!

We were so excited to stay in Soaky Bear and when we got there the house did not disappoint! Everyone loved their rooms and some adults even slept in the bunk beds and were very comfortable. The cabin had everything we needed for eating breakfast and dinner in (even had two crockpots). The beds were very comfortable (but tall - we had a shorter person that had to use a chair to get in bed Haha). The host answered message very quickly and some of our group used the pool and hot tub in the house. They were playing the football game at the rec area in the front of the complex and I was sad it was dinner time and could not enjoy it. Will definitely be booking for another trip!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this amazing cabin! We loved everything about it! The property was spotlessly clean and had plenty of everything! We had abundant dishes, cookware, towels, space, etc! It was very comfortable, and the temperature was perfect on all 3 levels, even in the August heat! The pool was incredible!! It rained a lot on our trip, but with the games and the pool inside, we had plenty to do! When we did get out, the water park was perfect! We loved everything and will definitely come back!

Our Annual Family Get Away

4 stars We truly enjoyed our stay at this VRBO—it offered the relaxing getaway we were hoping for. The location within the resort felt private and quiet, while still giving us convenient access to the amenities. The pool was one of our favorite features—clean, well-maintained, and never too crowded. We'd recommend highlighting more details about it on the listing, because it was such a great perk!The home itself was cozy and welcoming. We appreciated the comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen, and the peaceful view from the back deck. It’s a lovely space to unwind. The host was friendly, communicative, and clearly cares about their guests’ experience, which we really valued.That said, a few small improvements could make the home even better: installing grab handles in the bathtub would add some extra safety and accessibility, and a bit more attention to cleaning—particularly the dust on stair rails and in harder-to-reach places—would polish things up nicely. Also, we encountered occasional alarms going off during the stay, which we assume may have been a technical issue worth checking into.Overall, it was a wonderful stay. We’re grateful to the host for sharing their home and would gladly return. Just a few tweaks away from perfect!!

Great location

We choose a spot each year for our entire family, grown children, spouses, and grandchildren to meet and enjoy time together. This year we chose the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Tennessee area, and we had a wonderful time. Finding houseing is alway a challenge, and we were delighted to find a spot that would house all of us. It was great to have enough beds and bathrooms for our family. The house was close to everything, and had a great community area with a pool, lazy river, pickleball, mini golf, and more. We enjoyed the outdoor theater in the evening, and all the amenties.The house also had an indoor/outdoor pool which we enjoyed as well. The managers were very helpful throughout the process and got back to me quickly when questions were asked. I appreciated that. The property was also a mile from the Walmart which is always a plus when feeding lots of people.The only downside to the property was that the bunkbeds are in an open loft, and the only gathering area for the adults was right below that area, which made it difficult to play games in the evenings as the noise kept the littler ones awake. The air conditioning also seemed to have a hard time keeping it completely comfortable in the main areas during the afternoon and evening.We had a wonderful trip, and enjoyed the house and all the amenities.

We had a group of 20 family members stay for a week. Unfortunately, there were major HVAC problems, and the temperature was anywhere from 77-81 degrees inside. I contacted the owners, but after an assessment of the system, nothing changed. The listing states it can accommodate 22 guests; however, 15 is more reasonable. The dining room seats 14 people, and the living room 8. The kitchen has one refrigerator, the dishwasher was broken, and there is no garbage disposal. The island is nicely sized and there is a decent amount of eating utensils along with pots and pans. The living room doesn’t have blinds on half the windows, letting in excessive light and heat. The bedrooms all have decent furniture, and storage is adequate. The loft upstairs is nice, however, none of the windows have blinds, making the area very bright for those sleeping in the bunk beds. All the bathrooms had good water pressure, but there weren’t enough towels and washcloths. The floors throughout the entire house turn your feet black within minutes. The trash isn’t collected, which left us with numerous bags until departure. The theater in the basement is nice. Servicing the pool and hot tub between bookings is not frequent enough. There is only one washer/dryer in the residence. Both stairs are so loud it’s impossible not to wake others when walking up and down them. The water park was very nice, well-maintained, and had many options for adults and children. Unfortunately, we will not stay again.
