- Daughter got eye infections. Wondering if they even washed the sheets or pillow cases as there was blood stains on sheets. - Lady bugs! Stinky bugs! All biting us! Flying on us biting. Not a few, a hoard! No bug control. Dead stink bugs lying around. Had to keep our suitcases sealed every time we changed clothes so bugs wouldn’t crawl in! To owners: home defense spray is not that expensive!- Could be a whole lot cleaner. Black mold in upstairs shower. Drains in kitchen and bathroom sink would not drain.- Beware there is a super steep incline to get to this house and a very narrow road.- Smelled like there was a gas leak upon return to house. We did not use stove or dryer once, it went away but was frightening.- Dusty, evident cobwebs in throughout house and on front porch.- AC/Heating was not consistent. Upon arrival it was hot as hell. Upstairs there is a label taped to the thermostat saying they will charge you if you set it below 70.- Towels are tiny! Might as well get a wash cloth and wipe yourself! Ridiculous! Not a lot of towels provided. Absolutely pitiful! FYI to owner, 7 for a premium towel at Sams club! This is pitiful and a disgrace to your customers.-Overall a disgrace. The owners/cleaning personnel evidently do not care about this cabin’s maintenance and do not take any pride whatsoever in it.

This cabin was great!! It was large enough to give everyone their space, yet felt intimate and cozy. The kitchen was well-equipped, the owner was very quick to respond, and we loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom! It is also located perfectly between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Would 100% recommend!

Mountain Paradise

Ben was extremely flexible with our booking. The week before we were to arrive in Gatlinburg our Vrbo was cancelled. I contacted Ben, he answered his phone on one ring, and was able to confirm our booking was accepted and also granted us early check in (because we had already made dinner reservations for that evening, so 4:00pm was a little late for us to check in and also make it to our reservation.) When messaging, Ben was a little slow to respond, but I understand he has a family and isn't right at the property and did answer all of my questions within 4-6 hours. None of my questions were things that needed to be answered immediately. The directions for were to put the garbage and how to set the thermostat were a little unclear, but otherwise the home was easily accessible and the wifi worked well during our stay. The photos definitely do justice to the condition of the property. There is some minor wear and tear in the showers from use and it looks like the faucet was switched out in the one shower, but everything worked well. The water pressure was a little light, but overall the showers did the job! We did need to buy drain cleaner for one of the rooms, but after using that the shower worked just fine. The laundry facilities are small but do the job. Sometimes we had to run the dryer more than once to dry the items in it, but that's no different than the dryer I have at home as well, it did the job.

Good Location, but the cabin has issues

This cabin was located in a good location with fairly quick access to the main road in Pigeon Forge. Good, spacious cabin with good amenities, however, there is a known issue with the AC. The upstairs AC struggled to get below 80 degrees all day and wouldn’t cool below all night until early AM, was never consistent, and made sleeping arrangements uncomfortable. I did reach out to the owner and accommodations were made for an HVAC company to come out and investigate (I was told this by the owner, but was not at the cabin within the window of time they were to arrive), but there was no further follow-up or update with me from the owner. This was on the second day of a planned 7 day stay and we received no update for the remainder. The AC struggled to cool every day and there are signs in the cabin to not run the AC below 70, otherwise the AC will freeze up and the renter would be liable for costs to repair. This indicates a clearly known issue. The AC units do appear to be older, so I would be cautious to stay at this cabin during the summer until the AC is either replaced or repaired to cool the upstairs part of the cabin, where the 3 main bedrooms are. I would have expected more and do expect the owner to make this right, somehow.

Family Time

This is a spot I absolutely loved, no one bothering us while we regrouped as a family. Overall, great place to stay! Okay, someone complained about the stink bugs on a review, Michigan has them and all you have to do is get a Kleenex and flush them.

Great location and property, but ...

The cabin is at a great location. Right next to Pigeon Forge and a very short drive from the park and Gatlinburg. The property itself is very good with plenty of rooms, pool table, movie room etc. but the upkeep is not good. Patio was lined with cowebs, bathroom were not clean. Having travelled so far, we expected basic amenities like toiletries and pantry staples to be provided, but we had to go purchase them from nearby Kroger.

Lots of Space!

This rental is very spacious, each bedroom has a full bath. The living area is large and the kitchen is well stocked. It is in a great location, between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. All entertainment was in working order.The only two complaints-dusty and the pillows on all beds were beyond terrible.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

We had 6 adults stay at this spacious cabin. All the facilities were very clean. We utilized everything. The movie room was great with a huge tv. The hot tub was clean and fit 4 great, 6 was a little tight but we made it work. Water pressure in showers were not the best. The kitchen was fully stocked with crockpot, air frier and all the cookies sheets and pans needed. We would 1000% stay there again and again.

In the mountains

The cabin itself is beautiful and it is located in a quiet area. However, it was not very clean. It was very dusty and there were cob webs on the wall going up the stairs and in the dining room area. The ice maker didn't work very well and there were very little pots and pans to cook with. Also there were bugs all throughout the cabin (ladybugs and stink bugs).The golf game was not working and the hot water doesn't get very hot.The carpets could use a good cleaning. The DVDs in the theater room where all scratched up. The broom that was available had only half a metal handle bc it was broken (very dangerous bc someone could be cut by the top of the handle. The bathtubs were very dirty looking. The curtains were very dusty as well. Overall, I thought it would have been a lot cleaner than what it was for the price I paid to stay there.
