From the start this hotel was terrible. Upon arrival the front desk staff stated that due to hotel policy, he had to show us up to our room where we weren’t allowed to stay until we came back down to pay for the deposit on the room. We then had to go back down because we had to drop off all our things into the room. He proceeded to explain that because I booked through a third-party website ex: expedia.ca. That my card was declined and I didn’t have my phone on me to confirm the booking so back upstairs we all went where he again chauffeured us back into our room for me to retrieve my belongings to confirm that the room had already been paid for. It was a very odd check-in. However, we looked past it as we were tired and wanting to eat so we got back to our room and once in our room, we discovered how horrific it was inside. There is no mattress protection, there are stains all over the bed, the sheets down the side of the bed. The fire detector was sitting on top of the microwave with the batteries out, the coffee pot had residue sludge to the bottom of the of the pot. The bathtub has not looked like it has been cleaned in years. This room had no vacuuming no dusting hair everywhere bad odor. On top of it the location is not ideal or safe. Once we checked out the next morning, we asked if they have housekeepers which the front desk attendant stated no. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Unless you want to
be worried about bedbugs all night long like we were.
