You will find just one place to sleep within driving distance of Sangdong.

However, only 30 miles (45 kilometers) away there is Changwon, which features a number of Travelocity-listed places to base yourself. These include Daemyung Resort Geoje and Pullman Ambassador Changwon.

The larger South Gyeongsang district is well worth exploring as well. South Gyeongsang is known for coastal plains, forests and rivers, and other commonly visited sites include ruins and traditional villages. Wise visitors in this area of South Korea often love mountain climbing and hiking.
