We recently stayed at this property and wanted to share our experience for future guests.Arrival was a bit rough. It was snowing when we arrived, and the road and driveway had not been plowed, which made access difficult. When we got inside, the house was only 40 degrees, so it took quite a while to warm up. Unfortunately, the living room never really felt warm during our stay.Parking is also extremely limited. The garage is definitely preferred, especially in snowy conditions, but if you have a tall SUV or truck you may not fit. We had to remove the roof rack from our Tahoe in order to clear the garage opening. There are a few layout details to be aware of. The loft on the top floor is where the kids’ bunk beds are located, and access is via a very narrow spiral staircase. The stairs are not fully secured to the metal support and shift when you walk on them. Because of how steep and narrow they are, I personally would not feel comfortable having kids sleep up there if they needed to get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. Additionally, the fan in the main bathroom (which is right off the living room) is extremely loud. The house itself is a tight fit. I would not recommend it for more than a small family, as space is limited. One other note: the “shuttle” that is advertised is actually just the public/mountain shuttle, not a private or dedicated shuttle service. On a positive note, the home was clean upon arrival and was well stocked.
