Welcome to Appalachian Lodge! Luxurious cabin situated on a beautiful property
"This was the perfect spot for our exploration of the area. We went to Edmundston, Campbellton, and Mt Carleton. The house is located in a private lot surrounded by trees (which happed to be in full Fall color for our stay!). I do recommend arriving in daylight if possible because the roads are dark and the turn is not at a stoplight or sign. The house fit our 2 couples perfectly with plenty of room for eating and lounging. The kitchen was abundantly stocked with everything we needed to cook all our meals. I will note there weren’t any empty cabinets for our food so we stored it out on the counters. The closets were also full with linens so there was limited hanging space. The hot tub is located in an attached sunroom which is how you enter the house. The owner has set up an extra bed in there which we didn’t use but it is additional to the ones in the photos. The Master loft has clear glass doors that shut. It limits privacy but means you have a view from your bed out the 2 story wall of windows. The bathroom upstairs is located in an alcove of the bedroom with a wooden screen placed for privacy but there is not a door. Check the listing, this is a bathtub only with the shower in the downstairs bathroom. The house was clean and our host was accommodating and communicative. The grocery in town had everything we needed (deli, bakery, produce) for our week’s stay. Highly recommend this property."
