"Our "Superior" room had a magnificent, second floor ocean view. The food at the Avalon restaurant was superb, but the waitstaff (Martin, Valentina, Valeria, Niorca and Yajida) were even better! Our room was cleaned daily by a very trustworthy staff. The shower water was hot. The hotel manager, Jesus, speaks excellent English and was very hospitable and helpful. He arranged our airport pick-up and drop-off. The pool is very nice but was closed for cleaning for too long and too often. Overall, highly recommend!"

"Pacasmayo is a hot place, the AC in tbe room barely blows cold air and I think they programmed the remote control to be that way ( i really think they are trying to save money on electricity making you feel uncomfortable) .... there is no iron in the room neither a hair dryer ... we called the front desk and they didnt provide them either. The cleanliness of the bathroom is questionable, i dont think they use clorox, neither i think they scrub the floor or shower walls ... it also needs a lot of maintenance .. "
