Good modern hotel

Hotel is modern and clean. Breakfast was good. They are not open for dinner, neither is their bar. That does not make any sense. Great price m, but probably higher when their is a match next door.

Solid Stay in Rostock

This was an unexpected pleasant hotel that served us well as we stayed the night in Rostock awaiting our ferry the next morning. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. It is a bit outside of the downtown area, but it definitely has all you need for a no-frills stay.

Die Zimmer sind hell, freundlich und modern eingerichtet. Sogar eine kleine Kochecke hatten wir im Zimmer, das hat uns besonders gut gefallen, auch wenn wir nur den Wasserkocher benutzt haben. Wir hatten auch nur für 1 Nacht gebucht. Gern würden wir auch mal länger bleiben.

Ich hatte ein Zimmer in der ersten Etage. Am Anreisetag stellte ich fest, dass es stark nach Zigarettenrauch richt. Ein Wechsel des Zimmers war nach Auskunft des Personals nicht möglich und ein Raumspray hat nicht wirklich geholfen. Mir wurde bei Abreise gesagt, dass dieses Zimmer immer so richt, da es direkt über der Raucherecke des Personals liegt. Ich kann nicht verstehen wie so ein Zimmer in einem Nichtraucherhotel dann überhaupt vermietet werden kann. Bei vorherigen Aufenthalten habe ich weiter oben gewohnt und hatte einen eigentlich guten Eindruck , welcher jetzt sehr gelitten hat.

Das Hotel macht einen gepflegten Eindruck, die Zimmer sind sauber und modern. Der Parkplatz kostet leider nochmal 9 Euro zusätzlich on top zu den Hotelzimmerkosten und der Kurtaxe. Das Serviceperdonal ist zwar nett, aber schnell mit den Aufgaben überfordert oder können auf fragen keine Antwort geben. Bei uns ging es Konkret um die Entwertung des Parktickets und eine Frage zu Problemen bei der Aktivierung der Kurtaxenkarte für die Ticketfunktion für den ÖPNV. Hier sollte bitte eine Schulung des Personals erfolgen. Das Frühstück ist lecker und die Auswahl groß, sodass jeder etwas findet was er gerne isst.
