The staff is excellent, the safety is excellent, the breakfast options and quality are excellent, and the location is very good. The general rooms are small. And the rooms and amenities could use more updating. Overall it is a little pricey.

I would save my puke on something else, this is so bad that it is unpukeable. Cannot imagine who gave this a 4star rating. There is paint peeling from the walls and ceiling, flooring is distorted due to water damage. Bed and blanket covers were dusty. The room had strong smell of cigarette smoke. The tiles in the common areas were all cracked and seemed like we were in a real historic Rome building to give us the experience. Walls were thin and we could hear someone coughing all through the night. Street noise, especially during the night was super audible. Wonder what the rating system even means with all these issues.

This is at best a 2* hotel. The room is pretty old with peeled off wall paper and chipped paint. The walls are paper thin as I was hearing every person who flushed a toilet in the rooms on top or next to mine, not to mentioned anyone opening or closing doors. Breakfast is fine but not that good. 2 redeeming qualities are the good staff and the proximity to Roma Termini. I would not go back there nor would I recommend it.

a 3 days weekday getaway in Italy, ok stay here

The hotel has some issues on hardware that makes it hard to believe it is 4 star. We had noise problems and broken socket (and TV wire broken). However, the services provided by the staffs and managers are excellent. I would hope they upgrade the hardware soon (probably 2 stars), but with excellent services and reasonable Italian breakfast, the overall is 3 starts. It is also very close to the main station.
