the hotel is very close to the beach. the staff is as helpful as they can be -- not enough speak english but it was a great stay. the room was cleaned daily and the breakfast buffet was always ready on time and full

Good business Hotel. Nothing special.

Good business Hotel. Nothing exceptional, but also nothing bad about it. Room is clean, breakfast good, and they have a lunch buffet on weekdays. No luxury, just good enough for a business trip.

Great value, good location

Very nice stay, good option and value if you are staying for business in Barra da Tijuca. Although a little further away from the beach than most other hotels in Barra, it's only 10 minute away walking distance including crossing the canal on a boat.

Nice hotel close to where we had to go

The rooms were very comfortable, and the staff was pleasant even though I used sign language to communicate, but in all it was a very pleasant experience.

Ridiculous rude staff, they have no idea what service is about, interrupted internet connection, AC not cooling, overall not to come back, Rio has many more options to choose.

We felt isolated as really needed a car as the hotel was far from the beach and to keep paying for cabs to anywhere was costly. The reception staff were very good and spoke perfect English. The currency conversion rate from US dollars to Reals from the hotel was poor so ensure to go with Reals before arriving at the hotel as taxis do not accept dollars. We ordered room service...margarita pizza and a burger. Both were unedible and we still got charged for one despite complaining and sending them back. We had a 3am checkout and didn't notice the charge on our bill till we had left the hotel. Room was large and pleasant with a microwave, coffee maker(but no coffee provided!) and refrigerator. Breakfast was ok with a large choice of foods but fruit, cheeses etc were all uncovered.

A very nice hotel in the Barra neighborhood.

This was a very nice hotel, five minutes from the beach. A supermarket is nearby. I got a nice view of the neighborhood. Only drawback, if you plan to attend the New Year's Reveillon in Copacabana, then get a hotel in Copacabana because getting a taxi from our hotel to Copacabana is impossible after 6 PM because they close the roads to Copacabana and taxis stop driving to Copacabana..

Very safe and comfortable stay for business

The room quality and layout is excellent. The property is very quite and safe. The hotel bar could be more active. The beach can be reached via small boat (free service). The hotel pool is excellent and very big for Rio. The internet is free and connection speed in lobby and room area was very satisfying. The only drawback for Rio downtown visits is the traffic congestion and transportation cost.

Solicitação de reparo não atendida.

É a segunda vez que fico neste hotel. A primeira, sem problemas. Entretanto, dessa vez fiquei decepcionado. O cofre não funcionou. Solicitei conserto. Foi aberto pelo hotel uma ordem de serviço, entretanto não consertaram. No dia seguinte fiz outra solicitação de conserto, entretanto, ninguém foi ao quarto consertar e sequer deram satisfação .
