Good price, nice location

The location of the hotel is very good for the price. It is next to Pepe beach and easy to find. Hotel restaurant offers varieties of good food. Staffs were very helpful. Room is spacious enough. However, I got some interruption on WIFI quite often, so it is a bit annoying. Breakfast choices are typical, e.g, bread, omelette, cereals, fruits, etc. I couldn't get a good view from my room, but the beach view from the hotel lounge and patio is good enough. The neighborhood is quite peaceful despite locating next to a popular beach.

Praia Linda - beautiful beach

A really nice and friendly hotel with good views of the beach. Breakfast is good. It is close to a range of restaurants, and easy walking distance to the metro. We would go back, and would recommend to friends and family.

Excellent stay with excellent vibes!!

Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful starting from the bellman who helped us with our bags and park our car in the private garage. The breakfast area was very nice, an employee came around asking everyone how their stay and breakfast was which made us feel even more welcomed. I highly recommend this hotel and wish we could stay there longer.

Great hotel directly across from the beach.

Loved everything about this place. The breakfast buffet was incredible every morning. Staff were very helpful. Very clean & in a very safe neighborhood. Only problem we had was sometimes there was no hot water for a shower but when we brought it up to staff it was fixed quickly. Also loved the front patio which overlooks the beach.

Great and comfortable stay

Check-in was quick and convenient, as well as check-out. They were very friendly and accommodating, even with me only speaking English. The single studio room was small and perfect size for one person, furnished with a TV, storage space and a nice size bathroom. Wifi was fast and reliable. The lobby and outdoor area are great and picturesque. They are RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from the beach, so the location is wonderful. I highly recommend Hotel Praia Linda. Thanks so much!

Great hotel for the price!

Great location across from the beach, Oceanview room for a super price. Breakfast was good. They have a relationship with two Local restaurants that a shuttle bus will take to you to and from for free and the food was amazing. only thing is the bed was a bit hard but for the price and location I was very pleased.

I've stay at this hotel to attend a tradeshow at Riocentro. The location of the hotel is perfect for a fair at RioCentro, and in front of the beach. The hotel staff was really helpful, and the wifi was really reliable! The restaurant was okay, but there are other options at walking distance too.

A perfectly located motel 6

I almost checked out of this "luxury'' room immediately after checking in. I was so disappointed with the quality. The walls had no pictures and had scuff marks. My double bed was two singles pushed together-how ghetto can you get? It was the view from my window and the fact that I was within walking distance of many of the restaurants and kiosks that kept me there. Also,the staff of the hotel were very pleasant. I came to learn that this hotel gets complaints ALL THE TIME-that's why they are so adamant about not giving refunds. The owners know full well that the hotel is overpriced and needs some serious work done to justify the prices they charge. For them it's all about getting away with what they can with minimal investment. As long as people like me complain and stay rather than complain and leave I am sure nothing will change any time soon. I doubt if I would ever stay there again. The area is fine but I am curious about the other hotels in the area.

Fantastic scenery, everything else is not special

If you want to enjoy the beach (vacation) or will work in the neighborhood, I would recommend it. If you intend to visit the tourist attactions or will work in the city center, the hotel is definitely not a good choice (the horrible trafic will make you lose 1-3 hours every day). Very close to the nice beach of Barra da Tijuca, certainly a plus (I walked every day one hour after breakfast and before going to work :-). All the rest is not special, although still acceptable. Not cheap, but not expensive.

Great location and helpful staff

Praia Linda -don't expect bells and whistles but I was more than happy with my stay. The staff were incredibly helpful, spoke limited English, but that didn't matter. Bedroom was very clean, comfy bed and a great shower. I had a brilliant view of some mountains; colleagues had awesome views of the beach. No hairdryer (could borrow one from front desk if needed) and no iron. If you are after luxury this probably isn't the hotel for you but it is great value for money and has free Wi-Fi!

Great hotel, excellent location, right in front of the beach! Rich neighborhood around. Not far from Barra Mall. The only thing that could be better is the check-in process. It took almost 20 minutes to get our keys. Other than that it's great!
