"I hate to leave a negative review, but I want to share our experience. I stayed here with my older parents because of the waterfront location, and the views are truly beautiful.
However, there are two major issues. First, transportation is difficult. You cannot get an Uber or Bolt directly to the hotel and must walk up a steep hill to meet one, which is challenging with luggage and older travelers. Taxis can access the area but are much more expensive.
Second, the noise is overwhelming. Street musicians play late into the night, and it sounds like they are right outside your window. It was so loud I couldn’t read or sleep and ended up having to buy sleeping medication just to get through the night. The front desk even mentioned that it can go until 1:00, 2:00, or 3:00 in the morning. I understand I’m in a busy city but didn’t expect a nightclub right outside my window.
The staff and breakfast were wonderful, but the noise and accessibility issues would prevent me from staying here again."
