Nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour à l’hôtel. Notre chambre était parfaite : les lits étaient super confortables et le concept avec lits superposés, c’est idéal quand on voyage avec des enfants. L’immeuble est vieux, mais justement… j’ai trouvé ça super charmant. J’ai aussi beaucoup aimé qu’il n’y ait pas de réception. Tout se fait en ligne, mais c’est très facile de parler à quelqu’un si on a besoin d’aide. Le petit stationnement (avec frais) est pratique, et surtout : il y a une borne de recharge pour les véhicules électriques — gros plus pour nous! Il y a aussi une salle commune où on peut se préparer un petit déjeuner, avec micro-ondes et grille-pain. Très pratique le matin. Bref, on a adoré notre expérience et on espère vraiment y retourner un jour.

I planned this trip to Montréal to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and was genuinely excited about it. What should have been a nice, meaningful getaway ended up leaving me feeling unsettled, disappointed, and honestly shaken — not just by the stay itself, but by what happened afterward. From the very beginning, things felt wrong. We had trouble even getting into the building because the electronic key system was confusing and unreliable, which left us standing outside in the cold trying to figure out how to enter. When we finally got inside, I was startled to see that the main entrance door had been broken and replaced with a sheet of plywood. This wasn’t some back entrance or temporary interior repair — it was the front door. Seeing that immediately made me feel unsafe. Inside the building, there was a strong chemical smell that gave both of us headaches and made it hard to relax. It lingered and added to the overall feeling that something wasn’t right. The room itself had basic issues that shouldn’t happen anywhere presenting itself as a hotel. There was no soap in the bathroom, the TV didn’t work, and the stairs were extremely narrow and steep, with no elevator, which was not clearly disclosed when booking. There was also no front desk or staff on site, which made the entire experience feel unattended and isolating. What upset me most was that this was supposed to be a birthday trip — something special — and instead it felt stressful and disappointing.

I stayed here alone for one night and overall had a great experience. The hotel is very well located, extremely clean, and the rooms are spacious, cozy, and comfortable. I really appreciated the smart TV, mini fridge, and coffee setup in the room. There’s also a shared kitchen downstairs in the lobby, which is a big plus. One thing to note: the walls are very thin, and you can hear quite a lot from neighboring rooms. Other than that, I really loved my stay and would definitely recommend it, especially for a solo stay or short visit.

La chambre n'avait pas été faites lors de notre arrivé à 17h15 le 31 décembre. Une chance que nous sommes passé avant notre soirée. Puisque personne n'est sur place, nous avons dû téléphoner et attendre pour se faire donner une mauvaise excuse... seulement un petit ménage avait été fait puisque les personnes gardait la chambre pour une autre nuit... C'est n'importe quoi, aucun lit de fait, plein de café dans le lavabo... Aucune personne du Management n'a téléphoné pour s'excuser ou offrir une compensation. C'est inacceptable quand la base d'un hôtel est d'avoir des chambres propres pour de nouveau client. De plus, nous chambre avait besoin de beaucoup d'amour en comparaison aux autres chambres de l'hotel.

I prepaid for an EV parking spot because I needed to charge my car. However, when I arrived in the evening, my designated spot was occupied by another vehicle. I called customer service several times before finally getting through. They said they would ask the manager to coordinate, but the car was never moved. I then tried to park in another EV spot, but that charging station was broken, which left me unable to charge at all. It wasn’t until 10:30 the next morning that the Volvo—an ICE car that didn’t even need charging—finally moved. Fortunately, I still had enough range to drive a few kilometers to charge elsewhere; otherwise, it would have been a very scary situation. In the room, there were two heaters, and one of them was broken and not working. The bathroom has a glass window with only a sheer white curtain. It felt very unsafe when showering, as it was clearly visible from outside. Overall, the experience was very poor.

Les places de stationnement ne sont pas indiquées derrière l'hôtel donc on ne sait pas trop si on est stationné chez le voisin... (peut-être était-ce au sol mais en hiver on ne voit rien). La télé ne fonctionnait pas. Il manquait une porte de douche... (eh oui!!). Des serviettes blanches avaient des grandes traces de vert.., et on voyait que c'était usé... pas mal usé... L'endroit est bien situé, mais l'hôtel manque définitivement d'amour.

While all the touch surfaces were clean the rest of the room was not very clean. Dust on the light fixtures, mold on the wall in the closet (not black mold but nevertheless) and the floor was gritty even after they had just cleaned.
