The Lofthotel is one of the most ideally positioned Travelocity-listed rooms, one of the limited places within an easy stroll of the Quarten central area.

14 miles (23 kilometers) outside of downtown Quarten, you will come across the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. Alternatively, the Romantik Hotel Santis is 18 miles (29 kilometers) away. Another two places to stay worth checking out around Quarten are the Arena Lodge and the Sorell Hotel Tamina.

After you have spent time in Quarten, put aside some time to see more of Northern Switzerland. Northern Switzerland has rivers, lakes and mountains, and interesting visitor sites include ruins, castles and traditional villages. In this fascinating part of Switzerland visitors might also enjoy skiing, mountain biking and cycling.

10 miles (16 kilometers) to the northeast of Quarten, you will reach Wildhaus, which boasts Wildhaus-Gampluet Cable Car and Toggenburg Sound East Trailhead. For another option, stay in Appenzell, 18 miles (29 kilometers) northeast of Quarten, where you'll find the Hecht and Hotel Appenzell.
