For those modern wanderers that are wanting to explore the hustle and bustle of Quarten, Travelocity lists a small range of accommodation options In which to hang your hat. With 4 places to stay on Travelocity within a 6-mile (10-kilometer) radius of the city center, it shouldn't be hard to find somewhere right for you.
The Lofthotel is one of the most ideally positioned Travelocity-listed rooms, one of the limited places within an easy stroll of the Quarten central area.
14 miles (23 kilometers) outside of downtown Quarten, you will come across the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. Alternatively, the Romantik Hotel Santis is 18 miles (29 kilometers) away. Another two places to stay worth checking out around Quarten are the Arena Lodge and the Sorell Hotel Tamina.
After you have spent time in Quarten, put aside some time to see more of Northern Switzerland. Northern Switzerland has rivers, lakes and mountains, and interesting visitor sites include ruins, castles and traditional villages. In this fascinating part of Switzerland visitors might also enjoy skiing, mountain biking and cycling.
10 miles (16 kilometers) to the northeast of Quarten, you will reach Wildhaus, which boasts Wildhaus-Gampluet Cable Car and Toggenburg Sound East Trailhead. A few Travelocity-listed Wildhaus rooms include the Hirschen Swiss Quality Hotel and Saentis. For another option, stay in Appenzell, 18 miles (29 kilometers) northeast of Quarten, where you'll find the Hecht and Hotel Appenzell. Regardless of whether you're passing through or spending a few nights in Appenzell, a couple of places to add to your itinerary are the Appenzell Museum and Museum Liner.
When watching sport is on your bucket list for Quarten, visit AFG Arena, which is 20 miles (34 kilometers) to the north of Quarten. Any sports fans wanting to sleep nearby can explore the Hotel Säntispark or the Sporting Hotel.
St. Gallen - Altenrhein Airport is a commonly used gateway for air travel, and is located 30 miles (49 kilometers) outside Quarten's downtown area. Conveniently located hotel options include Hotel Heiden Swiss Quality and Best Western Hotel Rebstock.
