The property is ideally located in the heart of downtown Princeton which makes it perfect for getting to campus and all the restaurants. The property itself is dated, the rooms are small, the elevators even smaller, and there are few amenities inside the room. You stay at this place for the location only, which could not be better if you want to be at the center of everything and don't have a car.

Just fine for our needs

We stayed just one night, familiar with this hotel over many years. Room was fine, whole place is a bit long in the tooth and in our room there were some places where refurbishments were not quite complete, but caused us no issues. Location was main thing for us plus the nostalgia of being there now and then over many years.

An historic gem that needs the bathrooms of the guest rooms spruced up alot! The Corian sink was cracked, water stopper would not work and rust ringed the bathtub. The Yankee Doodle Tap room still charms. Overall very satisfactory but hire a new interior designer please!

A Good Nights Sleep

Location, location, location. The Nassau Inn is a five-minute walk from Richardson Auditorium at Princeton University where the concert that I was attending was playing. I travel alone. I feel very safe at the Nassau Inn, and in Princeton. Walking back to the hotel at 10p is not a problem. The hotel is quiet and clean. The bed was very comfortable; the bed linens were spotless and soft. I had a good night's sleep and woke to enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee from a cart in the lobby.
