The service was excellent. We enjoyed the pool. No elevator to 2 nd floor so if handicapped must be on first floor Not a hotel for longer stays. Not near all the Charlevoix action. But we were here to be a part of the Antique Road Show so overnight was just perfect!

Drove past the property twice and didnt see it because they have no outside lighting and the business sign was poorly illuminated. The parking lot felt unsafe, no lighting and somwone was having a knock down drag out fight with their boyfriend. As we're waiting to check in, the person in front of us is trying to change rooms because their room is filthy and smelly. Finally get to our room. Filthy and smelly. Luckily the windows open, so we were able to air it out a bit. The bathroom smelled like hundreds of old men with chronic UTI's peed all over. But we were tired and just wanted to sleep. Bed was weirdly lumpy. I rather sleep in my car than this place.

My husband and I were looking forward to a one night stay but we had a family medical emergency and tried to cancel. Hotel said I would have to contact Hotels.com/Expedia. There is no way to cancel…only a robot answering. Made reservation on 1-15-2025. Tried calling starting 4-22-2025 for several days…still only a robot answers. They have my $132.80 and I am out the money. Four other hotels in Michigan where we had reservations gladly and kindly allowed us to cancel snd wished our family a speedy recovery. A very sad situation. The manager at the hotel was very nice but insisted she did not have my money…so I had to keep calling Hotels.com with no answer and no sbility to speak to a human. Lynn

Had a late night check in so it was kind of a little hard to see where the entry was from the main road. Staff was very friendly. They had a good variety for complimentary breakfast. The beds were bit too soft and it took awhile to get warm water while showering. Overall, not bad for 1 or 2 night stay. Especially when it is close by to the lake.
