The hotel is in a great location for the beach and has a wonderful pool. The rooms are a little dated but very clean. We had a two bedroomed suite which we were very pleased with. The staff are all very good.

Horrible experience

What a bad way to start our vacation at the reception! The reception girl told us breakfast is not included. We showed her the confirmation from Hotel.com and it says FREE BREAKFAST included in our booking. She kept saying it’s their hotel policy that the breakfast is not free. 3 out of 4 staff at reception insisted until someone like a manager came in and checked who know what internally. It’s confirmed that we were finally fine with the breakfast situation (TBH the breakfast is trashy and not worth the time to argue about). The room is spacious but quite disappointed. Towels and bed sheets are dirty. Shower head has low water pressure. The hotel in general is old unlike the pictures online. Rude reception staff but nice bellboys. Never coming back and will recommend everyone I know not to book here.

Great location

very good location - directly opposite sandy beach. plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and convenience stores (7Eleven and chemist etc). nice pool area and friendly staff. the only reason for a not perfect score was a confusion about a water being drunk from mini bar (resolved) and there was renovating going on. great breakfast made up for it though. would definitely stay again. recommended.

Average hotel very close to beach. Needs some TLC

Average hotel in need of a little work, but in saying that it was ok. We stayed 5 nights. For the price it was fine. Almost all staff very nice. Only complaint, they had a convention on our second last day and they didn’t seem to cope so well. We were at the pool when the staff started packing up some of the umbrellas to take to where the convention people were. Bad luck for the guests not with the convention. We then wanted to order some food while at the pool. We were told we had a 2 hour wait before food could be ordered because they were busy feeding the convention people. Not good enough in my opinion!!! The pool IS AMAZING!!!

Not first - and not last

Again some nice days in the best part of Jomtien Beach. Not our first stay at Jomtien Garden Hotel & Resort - and not the last. Very friendly staff, good breakfast and overall a nice stay.

Old run down hotel close to the beach

My non smoking room came with many cigarette burns and a ashtray. Took over an hour to check in. The safe did not work and they could not fix it leaving my family possessions and passports unsecured. I waited an hour to find that out. The hallways are dark and they too cheap to turn on the lights. The staff are very friendly gut work at a scum hotel that only cares about pumping through the cheap Chinese tour groups. The food buffet is great for the beach dogs but not for people. The hotel is very run down which cannot be seen in the photos.

Satisfactory but not Excellent

Nice hotel.New from outside but old inside. Rooms ok but furniture old and worn. Breakfast more catering for the many Mainland Chinese tourists as for Western people. Choices limited without cheese, western bread or multiple fruits. However, on request, the f&b manager is polite and brings some cheese and some more fruit to the table. Besides this 2 positive features should be mentioned: the service is very good and big pool beautiful and inviting.

Great hotel and awesome pool!

Great hotel on the beach, very easy access to shopping, food and other attractions. Probably the cleanest pool we've ever been at, even by high quality American pool standards. Taxi service was quite expensive if going to Bangkok, we just grabbed a street taxi and saved 600bt.
