Solo stay at @White Patong Hotel

Check in was quick. Room is clean. Staff were friendly. Hotel is 3mins walk to Jungceylon mall and the nightlife area. Amenities nearby include massage parlour just opposite to hotel, eateries and minimart were nearby as well. A little noisy at night from the pubs can be heard. Downside to the hotel is that it does not have an elevator. So for those with family / luggages, it might not really be suitable.

The staff is amazing. Price is amazing. They will fix your ac, serve food at the restaurant. Very friendly. However, the hallways are not exactly echo proof made of porcelain tile. The people staying at this hotel are the noisiest and drunkest people from 12am-6am, yelling. Unless you have the best noise canceling headphones, you will not get any sleep. Don't expect to get any sleep! And the construction begins at 8am. Your significant other will not be impressed at staying at this hotel longterm.

Hotel on Soi Sansubai and close to Walking Street. The room was clean and comfortable. Hotel doesn't have an elevator so you have to take the stairs.

Ridiculous Staff, No Lift, Bad AC in my Room

No doubt, The Hotel was clean and Location is prime. But but it has really a Ridiculous staff, No Lift in hotel and Bad AC in my room. We checked in around 7 PM at night. and Receptionist told us as that there is no booking on your name until he took 1 hour to figure out from my booking no. that I have booked from Hotel.com. They told us to take a room on floor 5 and told there is no lift!! ... What ?? We told him that one of our friend cannot climb upto 5 floor so it will not be possible to take 5th floor. We are still standing in reception waiting for a room. Until we asked to make a call to Manager. Manager helped us to get another room on second floor, which was ok, but they were not ready to give another bed as we were 3 persons and it was expected to have 3 beds in Room. We are still standing in the reception.then suddenly they arranged as a bed as we requested to Manager. Finally we got the room after 2 hours. Because Air conditioner was not working fine, we were not able to sleep and finally we checkout at 7 AM to take another room. Receptionist also made a racist comment by saying we are indians thats why we dont take room on floor 5.
