I am a frequent business and vacation traveler, and I expect a pleasant stay when booking a 3 star hotel. Unfortunately, my recent experience at your property was very disappointing and far below the advertised standard.
We arrived late at night and were informed that the rooms with kitchenettes were only located on the second floor, with no elevator access. At 70 years old, with knee problems, carrying heavy luggage up the stairs was extremely difficult and painful.
The condition of the rooms was unacceptable:
• The bathtub drain was clogged.
• The bathtub had no shower curtain.
• Soap dispensers were placed on top of sink, empty.
• We found cockroaches in the room. We have pictures of the place.
• The phone in the room was out of service, making it impossible to contact the front desk.
Additionally, the kitchenette was misleadingly advertised. It contained only a stove, with no dishes, utensils, soap, or sponges provided, making it unusable for preparing meals.
Because my wife, young children, and I were staying in two rooms, the lack of basic amenities and the inconvenience of repeatedly going back and forth to the reception desk made the situation even more frustrating.
This experience does not reflect the quality or comfort expected of a 3 star hotel. I kindly request that you review these issues and take corrective action to ensure future guests do not face similar problems. I also ask for appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and discomfort we endured. Rodrigo
