I wanted to stay here for my birthday as there was a heat wave In Paris… I called the hotel the night before to check that they had an and that everything would be working. Firstly when II wanted to stay here for my birthday as there was a heat wave in Paris… I called the hotel the night before to check that they had a C and that everything would be working. Firstly when I arrive the room was steaming hot and I could barely catch my breath… they said they would find me another room which they did which also didn’t have functioning air conditioning and then it became apparent that actually the air conditioning is set at a very low level… They tried to blame it on the fact that it’s hot outside, which is painfully ridiculous. there was an awkwardness as it was clear that this was an ongoing issue and they weren’t being very clear about it so I lost about three hours trying to resolve the room situation. I then had to go for dinner with my partner and by the time I came back there was no resolution and nobody had even cared to check and try and find a solution… We spent a very hot night in a hotel room which was rather ordinary and lacking in any character. The hotel was completely inept and had a terrible vibe about it… I would honestly avoid it if you want anywhere reasonable. It’s definitely not four stars and definitely not climate ready… Especially as you can’t even open the windows and you’ll just be in your room suffocating. And there is absolutely no customer service.
