Book yourself a great stay at the Black Bear Manor

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. Best of all was the service. Gino and Lauren both knocked themselves out to ensure that we were comfortable and that the room was in great condition, and that everything we needed was available to us. Breakfast (cooked by Lauren) was fantastic each day. We loved the condition of our room, the hot tub, the property in general, and even the BBQ grill. Location near the river was peaceful and cool, and only two blocks off the main street. If you are coming to Ouray, do yourself a favor and book a reservation at this place. Extremely satisfied. We will be staying here again for sure.

We really enjoyed our two night visit here! Our host, Connor, was very welcoming and friendly. He even assisted other guests with their car problem! Happy hour was fun out on the patio - we met some very friendly people. Black Bear Manor is right downtown with stores just an easy walk away. Also very close to the river! Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is old and quaint. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. Our host Elizabeth was wonderful, attentive and concerned for us as we had had a rough day getting there, fire in Ouray had a divert around from Silverton so our trip took us 4 extra hours to get there. Then we got a flat tire,Elizabeth met us at the door at 8 pm with a smile and chocolate chip cookies. Would recommend the inn.

The staff was excellent and went well beyond our expectations. Great location close to the river and the heart of town. Breakfast was very good both days we were there. We would highly recommend this B&B. It will be our first choice for our next visit to Ouray, CO.
