Please be advised for this day we had booked a Junior suit corner room. The room is poorly designed and the bed has an elevated surround which in my opinion is dangerous especially if you have to get up during the night. We had further stay booked in this hotel for which we ask through hotels.com to be cancelled without penalty we never received a response from hotels.com regarding this. On arrival first second stay in the hotel in the same style room we requested it be changed and the two options that were provided were unacceptable being downgraded to a smaller room without any refund or pay around AUD 200 to upgrade to a 90 m² room but these options were unacceptable to us. The staff are not particularly helpful and that made us aware that they had received our earlier request to cancel the booking and did nothing about it. In the past we have stayed in the same area in Osaka at the Intercontinental which clearly is a better hotel and has way better customer service people. We will never stay at this hotel again and we will be writing about our unfortunate experience with this hotel on social media in great detail.
