Disliked: Cleanliness
First impressions aren't always what they seem.
I received a text that the unit was clean, and that we would be able to get in earlier than expected which was awesome. We get to the unit, and the view of the water and beach was amazing, as was the sunrises from the balcony. The unit was as described and pretty. But not clean. The room length mirrors had little handprints all over them, the counter tops had crumbs all over , the stovetop was so greasy, it looked like a pound of bacon had been cooked on it without a pan, along with the handles of the fridge. The bathrooms were filthy, with sand in the bathtub and old urine stains all over the seat and rim accompanied with pubic hair. The carpets were stained in the main bedroom, food wrappers visible under the couch, and the clothes dryer had more than an inch of lint in the trap which is a big fire hazard. We had to make our own beds with the linens that were delivered and the mattress pad that was on the bed had an unsightly stain which was gross. Needless to say, it wasn't a great start to our vacation, but the Property Manager apologized, and sent the housekeepers back to go over the place again. Im not sure what happened as far as the cleaning but we pay a hefty cleaning fee as part of the price and it obviously wasn't done.
The unit was stocked with games, cards, books, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and noodles.(no beach towels) The kitchen was fully stocked with a lot of everyday needed items.
