Check in was fast, the front desk person did not want to be bothered. I think the same person checked me out, told me to leave the cards, when asked for the printed receipt she seemed to be bothered she had to get up from a couch. Easy and free parking. Well lit area in the front. The room was nice and clean. Bathroom was OK, not much pressure on the shower. Very comfortable bed. There is a small microwave and fridge. Tiny gym, I did not use it. Major issue was the noise. It is like an old motel, I was on the pool side and people were talking loudly until late (though there is "quite time") and that was very annoying.

I discovered roaches in my room in the middle of the night. when I called down to the desk about it, they said they did not have another room for me and I would have to wait for the morning in order for them to call the owner to approve a refund when I checked out at 6:45 AM they still have not called the owner and when I called them at 11:00 AM, they said the owner would not honor a refund because I did not check out immediately. I have pictures and I will be contacting the Florida commission on hotels and inspections to follow up.

The room was lovely; the front desk staff was very friendly. The only issue was the loud group outside (we were by the pool); however, that ended at an appropriate time (around 10pm). Overall, great experience and if I'm ever back in Ocala I will definitely be staying here.

It was the perfect reasonable cost overnight stay. It is a motel with outside doors for every room. The rooms and grounds were immaculate and well groomed, the bed was comfortable and linens were comfortable. The staff were friendly. It has a large swimming pool. The breakfast was typical buffet with waffle makers and eggs, yogurt, cereal, etc. The area has many restaurants several within walking distance. I would definitely stay again when traveling through Ocala.
