The desk clerk was very welcoming and the rooms were clean. We were only there for one night but all was efficient. Breakfast was complimentary but had some issue with the power. The worker did best to correct the power issue so guess could get griddle waffles and make toast.

Dirty!! Even the blowdryer was so sticky I had to hold it with a towel. Shower rail loose, my mom almost fell down. Loud hallways that smell like smoke and mildew

Filthy tub

I only rented this room because of the hot tub in the room I looked at all the hotels in Ocala. Paid extra for this room to have a romantic weekend with my wife. And the hot tub had brown stuff coming out of the jets. Tried three times filling it up and turning it out to see if it would come out clean. It just kept getting worse.

Desperately needs upgrades and storm damage repair

Property is in desperate need of upgrading. May have had damage during the hurricane and had dehumidifiers in all the halls. Fifth floor smelled the worst, but I think there is a mildew issue. Bathroom was not very clean and faucet leaked. Also very weird humming noises that made sleeping uncomfortable. Furniture looks like it is from 1980. Staff was very helpful and accommodating, but with the condition of the hotel there is very little they have control of.

Horrible place! The hallway and room smelled like mold and mildew. It looked like they had a flood issue on the 4th floor and have dehumidifiers in the hall way. We left to go eat and thought maybe when we got back to the room it might smell better but it doesn’t. When we went to complain and check out within 2 hours, no offer for another room was given. I’m not risking our health just to sleep one night. Wouldn’t even give me a print out when I checked out.

Manage your expectations

Escaped to this fine establishment due to hurricane Milton and will definitely return if the situation should arise again. The staff are impeccable. The hotel itself is a little worn and tired but you get what you pay for. I found the employees dealing with a sold out situation completely professional and down right lovely. Thank you for being open for all of us during a very, very trying time.
