We were there for a basketball tournament and stayed 4 nights. I'm glad we didn't go for the other cheaper options in the area: this was definitely on the higher end and the cleanliness was questionable. Blood stains on sheets, dust bunnies flying around in the room, dead cockroach in the hallway, water bottle filling station not functioning (combined from front desk denying us an additional complimentary water bottle), lights not working in bathroom, previous guests food leftovers hidden behind bedside table, ball of human hair on the bathroom floor were found upon our arrival...and were still present when we left (aside from food leftovers, I cleaned those myself afraid it would attract pest). While I'm sure it was way better than other hotels in the area, it definitely not match the price tag.

$500 “Partial Ocean View” room was a joke. Nice view of the parking lot. Calls to the front desk were always a busy signal. The gorgeous pool used in advertisements was rented out to a private party. The only thing accurate was the beach.

The parking garage is a total nightmare. The hotel lets the valet have all the normal parking spaces.The guests must manipulate huge posts and unusually small spaces! Seen 2 accidents during my 5 day stay.

I would give it a 5 star just for the welcome letter from the general manager and front desk customer service. However, I subtracted a star for lack of cleanliness in common areas and elevators and poor service in the onsite restaurant.

The housekeeping was not very good. They did come in but all they did was leave new towels. They didn't make the bed, they didn't vacuum, they didn't take the old towels, and they didn't leave new soap. We were out of soap and had to call down to the front desk to get more because housekeeping had left for the day. Also, there was an exercise convention while we were there, and the music was SO loud that it woke us up each morning and the whole room was echoing with the bass from the music. Also - a note to visitors, parking is NOT included. They charge an additional $30 per day for parking.
