Spacious home for up to 8 people. 4-bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. 2 parlors and a 2nd story balcony that overlooks Frenchmen, full kitchen . Relax as you are in the heart of what is known as the "Locals French Quarter". Jazz Pubs, Arts Market, and New Orleans dining are literally steps from the estate. Just walk out the front door and all that New Orleans is famous for, is steps away. Home was built in 1880 with classic, high ceilings and spacious rooms and over 2300 Sq. feet of living space. Four large bedrooms, 3- king size upstairs and 1-queen size downstairs and updated with 3 bathrooms . Don't get a cramped hotel room when you can live large in this New Orleans estate with a balcony that looks over all the Frenchmen Street fun. We book this house because we wanted to be as close to the parade route as possible. It didn't disappoint. It was a great location with everything you could need as far as entertainment and food right at your doorstep. That being said, if you are a light sleeper you will need earplugs. Don't stay here if you are expecting a quiet evening. We read the reviews and went into it expecting to hear the bands and crowds in the street so we were fine with it. It is close enough to the heart of the French Quarter to walk, even for six older ladies. Even though we went in the coldest weekend of the year it was a great trip.

Had a great time at this property. We did not spend that much time inside due to it being a great location in the heart of the French Quarter. We were able to hang out late and easily walk back when needed. The host was very welcoming and invested in our stay. Would highly recommend if you plan on partying on Bourbon St. or the French Quarter!

This was a wonderful property, and within walking distance to most of the things we wanted to go to. I loved that it had its own parking space as well (although at one point, someone did come along and take it, but Jose called the tow company right away). It was air conditioned to the perfect temperature and accommodated all 6 of us adults quite well! Beds were comfy, too. It was very noisy at night, but we knew that going into it, so were prepared for that. We loved people watching from the front porch and balcony - very entertaining! I highly recommend this stay for your trip to New Orleans!

Great walkable location close to great food and music.

We had a great stay, everything was as pictured, check in was seamless with good communication from the owner. The house was set up with plenty of supplies, we were very comfortable. While we personally enjoyed the energy and atmosphere of Frenchmen St., light sleepers should note that due to the proximity of local night life this is not a quiet place.
