I don’t know who is giving this hotel so many good reviews but don’t believe them… absolutely disgusting rooms. First room they gave I scanned and walked in and their where people in there. The second room I was given had filthy sheets an awful residue on the counters, TV had 0 channels and there was I fact NO internet. If the room says river view… it is not don’t pay the extra money for it!

This hotel needs some serious cleaning. Even the outside could use a fresh coat of paint. Just looks worn. The elevators were not working, so we had to use the service elevator. Which was okay, but the area to use the elevator was not clean. If the service elevator has to be used, the area should be at least clean, even though this is where the laundry room and other work rooms are. Our room smelled like grease. The desk staff said the kitchen was used earlier in the day to cook chicken and/or fish. It smelled like that in our room. However, the breakfast offered was good and filling.

The main elevator was down and had to use the service elevator. The ice machine on our floor was out of order. However, the breakfast was good along with very good service.

What was not liked, the soada machines were eotjer broken or empty, they had an elevator down. But really erked was the driver for the shuttle. Apparently one door didnt work, so we had to get in and slide over, no bigfie, but its captain seats and the drivw had both seat reclined so far back you knees didnt fit.

Birthday Celebration nightmare.

I was very disappointed with this stay at the Magnolia Hotel in Natchez. My sisters and i celebrated our Birthdays on the 17 and the 19 of April. What should have been a joyus occasion Turned into a nightmare. The room didnt have a phone.The room had poor lighting. The table lamp next to the beds was the only lighting that worked. Corner lamp did not work at all. The security lock on the door broke off as i tried to secure the door. The shower curtain in the bathroom was half the size of the shower. And on the last night of our stay the air-conditioning wasn't working. The room was hot. I let the front desk know the security lock was broken and there was no phone in the room.Busy Easter weekend and only 1 elevator was working. Nicole assured me she would take care of it. The security lock was replaced but still no phone. When ever we visit Natchez we always stay at the Magnolia never had issues in the past. I can assure you we will never stay there again.
