Mount Surprise Hotel & Travel Guide
If you and your travel companions are roaming in Australia and want to find a Mount Suprise hotel, it is important to know Travelocity's extensive list right now does not have lodgings in or near Mount Suprise.
Port Douglas is situated 140 miles (226 kilometers) from Mount Suprise. It is where you can find alternative Travelocity hotels to base your adventures from such as the Niramaya Villas and Spa and Coconut Grove.
When you have some spare time, you could discover the sights of the Tropical North Queensland region. Move around Tropical North Queensland's art galleries. Those who love nature could also make the time to check out the region's beaches. Daring travelers may also get involved in rock climbing in this part of Australia.
For travelers planning on arriving or departing through Cairns International Airport, you might find it convenient to book Travelocity-listed rooms at Shangri-La Hotel, The Marina, or The Lakes Cairns Resort & Spa, which can both be found close.

"Stayed 3 nights in one of the Pioneer Huts. Clean and comfortable room, fantastic deck with bush views and a procession of wildlife. Clean bathroom with good shower. On-site bar and restaurant available for lunch and dinner, meals were very good quality and good-sized servings. At least one bush breakfast is also a must. Room has a small fridge and tea-coffee making facilities but not much else for self-catering. The magic here is the wildlife, bush and of course the Lava Tubes, an absolute must see. Would recommend at least two of the guided tours. Lots of hiking trails available straight from your room. Very good communications from reception prior to arrival so there were no surprises, the location is somewhat remote with no services nearby."
