It's no worry that Moncalvo doesn't lay claim to having an extensive collection of hotels and apartments near its downtown area, Cascina Spinerola should be close enough to satiate most visitors.
The Relais du Silence Castello di Razzano can be found 4 miles (6 kilometers) outside of the heart of Moncalvo. Another alternative is the Relais Sant'Uffizio, which is located about 2 miles (3 kilometers) away. Alternate Travelocity-listed hotels are the Rocca Civalieri and the Relais Cattedrale.
If you can spare the time, enlightened travelers should discover more of the sights of the Piedmont region. View Piedmont's rural landscapes, rivers and lakes. On top of that, spend time at a selection of the region's ruins and castles. Popular things to do in this corner of Italy include snowboarding and skiing.
Alessandria is 20 miles (33 kilometers) to the southeast of Moncalvo and boasts Chiesa di Santa Maria di Castello and Piazza della Liberta. A few Travelocity-listed Alessandria hotel establishments include the Hotel Londra and Hotel Europa. 10 miles (17 kilometers) south of Moncalvo, you will find Asti, which boasts the Hotel Palio Asti and Hotel Lis. The Piazza Alfieri and Golf Feudo di Asti are more frequented places to see when visiting Asti.
Before you head home, why not spend an afternoon enjoying the spectacle with excited lovers of sports at a community game. Juventus Stadium is 30 miles (50 kilometers) to the west of Moncalvo. Book Travelocity-listed accommodation not far from the action at the AllegroItalia Golden Palace or the Cascina Di Corte.

Agriturismo Ca San Sebastiano Wine Resort & Spa
"I stayed at this resort because I love wine and am I female traveling alone. In this area it’s impossible to get anywhere without a car and I wanted to be safe. This hotel offers a pool, free wine tasting of the wines they make on site, a restaurant, spa services, as well a s shuttle service. They also have a wine tasting at the cellar where they make their wine for a fee and you can organize a shuttle to get there. I was so glad I stayed here. My room was super cute. Air conditioning worked but was not strong so not good for people that run hot. Because I was solo I was not allowed to dine where I wanted so some of the waiters were rude about that. I asked to have my meal in my room since I had no other option but the other waiters were nice and served me outside by the pool. So you can choose to have your dinner anywhere if they don’t let you eat where you want in the dining room. This resort is all couples so it’s great for safety for female travelers but we don’t get the same respect. They have 3 cats that live there. They don’t approach you unless you do but for those highly allergic make sure you have your meds. Also make sure you have ear plugs because one night a group of guests were singing outside drunk until 2am."
